Online Classes

2020 started with much anticipation and excitement from everyone all around the world. However, within months, a global pandemic hit and the world has almost come to a halt. Travel, business and most importantly education has come to a stop. Schools are closed all over the world. Even here in the Maldives, students are no longer taught at school, but they are taught via online classes. Online teaching platforms such as Google Classroom, Google Meet and Edupage are currently being used all over the Maldives. Here in Gn. AEC, the lessons are taught to each grade according to a fixed schedule via Google Meet. Class works or home works are given through Google Classroom. Although most lessons are conducted according to a fixed schedule, some teachers take extra lessons out of the regular schedule to complete the syllabus. In addition to this, Ministry of Education has started Telekilaas, where a certain subject for every grade is broadcasted on TV at different times throughout the day.
